REAL Kids League

REAL Kids League

For six weeks over the summer, youth attend the REAL Kids Summer Program. Youth spend their mornings participating in reading and team building activities and their afternoons outside on the baseball field. On average, children from low-income families lose nearly three months of grade-level equivalency during the summer each year. Real Kids Summer works to combat this achievement gap while building literacy, social and emotional skills, and physical health among participants.

The Real Kids participants are divided by age into three leagues: Satchel Paige League, Roberto Clemente League, Jackie Robinson and Sharon Robinson League.
